Quick tips:
- Cream and Liquid formulas, as well as products with a wand applicator (mascara, lip gloss, concealer, liquid eyeliner) are more susceptible to bacteria and require more frequent replacement.
- If you notice a smell or color change to any product and an odd taste to your lip products, replace immediately.
- If any product causes irritation or you have an eye infection, stop use and replace.
- Always keep your foundation in a cool area for longer keep.
- Brush holders and makeup bags get neglected – don’t forget to clean and replace these as needed.
- If you tend to forget how long it’s been, either write the purchase date on your makeup with a sharpie, or keep a little date log in your bathroom drawer for an easy reminder.
